hey you!…yes, you. the one that always runs from anything that might move you a little from your precious, comfy, sleepy comfort zone!
let’s just be curios of what might happen – just let it be exactly what it is, do not extract the right, the wrong, the unfair, the good out of it. just let it be.
if you are being called, answer; if something is requested from you, and you feel like you would be able to help somehow, and you feel enclined to go towards it, then just say ‘yes’ – accept the possiblity of being hurt, accept the awareness that you would always rather be safe than sorry.
and if you classify the whole experience as being ‘wrong’, ‘bad’, ‘awful’…remember that in order to have these bitter feelings you are very much aware of their opposites also. And also, could you accept that maybe you see things in a certain colour, light, and can you accept that maybe there are more colours involved? Could you accept that maybe the conclusion you first took on every situation you encounted, might not be the overall conclusion, that this perception might be…dare I say it? subjective? could you twist it around when you remember this? could you imagine it has a different, or aditional colour, flavor to it? remember this, and do not hide – see what colours hide in plain sight if you open yourself a little more.
just notice the imediate stamp you give to any new thing – remember that it might not be the true, just your perception of it. I can guarantee that in the next hour you will have an example of this. All I ask is to be aware of the immediate conclusions you draw. The exercise I am requesting of you is to change the colour, see that thing in a new light. If it is a ‘good’ sensation, something that you see as ‘right’ – let your imagination turn it around. The same thing for any other conclusion. Could that conclusion be anything else than what you think it is…?

PS: I thought I knew how to properly use “then” and “than”. reading this blog post again, showed me I was wrong 😦
